S. G. Torrice Donates Product and Services to Renovation Project

Tyler, TX (March 6, 2002) –  American Standard Heating & Air Conditionings Allegiance^® 12 air conditioner was featured on the January 19 episode of "Bob Vila's Home Again" television program. American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning is a division of American Standard Companies, Inc. (NYSE: ASD).

In the second half of its 12th season, "Bob Vila's Home Again" is currently renovating a Victorian home in Medford, Mass. Founded in 1958, American Standard Heating & Air Conditioning distributor S. G. Torrice, of Woburn, Mass., donated and installed the units. Mr. Mike Donaghey, vice president of sales for S. G. Torrice, was a guest on the program, describing several features and benefits of the Allegiance^® 12. In all, the distributor donated five Allegiance^® 12 air conditioning units for the house and adjacent barn, including two 5-ton units, two 3-ton units and one 2-ton unit.
