Heat pump unit manufacturer certificate
COP
The Coefficient of Performance (COP) at 5 degrees Fahrenheit is greater than 1.75 at maximum capacity. COP is a performance rating of how effective a heat pump is at transferring heat relative to the electricity it consumes.

Heating Capacity Ratio (HCR)
This ratio requirement minimum measures the degree to which a heat pump is able to provide heat in very cold weather. 70% is the baseline for cold climate heat pumps.

Gas furnace manufacturer's certificate
Gas furnaces use natural gas or propane to generate heat for your home. Your system must meet the following efficiency rating: 97% AFUE
Air conditioner manufacturer certificate
The air conditioner in your system must have both efficiency ratings per system type:
